About Us

Based near Birmingham, we cover the whole UK mainland from our Midlands location. We operate from our own purpose-built yard and workshop where we are able to prepare, maintain and refurbish both our own, and customers’ cranes.

Ladybird Cranes have a reputation in the industry for quality and innovation.

We introduced the first IGO50 into the UK in 2004 and have purchased the first new generation of Hup32-27s and Hup40-30s cranes in 2016.

We were early adopters of the Potain flat-top range of MCT cranes and now work with Manitowoc to offer their complete range of larger luffing jib and MDT tower cranes in our rental fleet.

With our roots in the smaller self-erecting crane market, we have continued to invest and innovate in new products, adding the Montarent M21 crane to our fleet in 2019 and the Midi trailer cranes in 2023.

As a family-owned business, we work with a focus on the long-term and have developed long-standing customer and supplier relationships delivering high quality products and service.
